Think about it.

Back to the last time you “lost”?

Not a minor inconvenience. We’ve all had the awkward situation with no toilet roll and had to calculate our next move.

A real loss.

A relationship that ended unexpectedly.
A business deal that fell apart.
A dream that you chased, only to come up short at the final hurdle.

Most people hate losing. They avoid it at all costs. And I get it. Losing hurts. It’s uncomfortable. It forces you to look at the parts of yourself you’d rather avoid.

But this is why losing is good.

What if losing isn’t something to avoid? What if it’s something to embrace

Every time you’ve lost, it didn’t just end there. Life doesn’t stop and you drop dead.  Instead, it pushed you to grow. It exposed cracks in your foundation. It made you ask questions you wouldn’t have asked otherwise.

This is what it brings you:

It exposes the weak spots.
It builds resilience.
It clears the way.

Sure, some people might say you get the same if you win, but you won. You don’t feel that pain, it doesn’t cut as deep. You can gloss over the areas that are wrong in your life.

You need that loss.

Don’t take it personally. Utilize it, ask the questions, and get back in the game.

Stop playing it safe, take the risk, and shoot your biggest shot. Get your feedback, learn, reiterate, and go again.

Life isn’t win-win-win. That happens to absolutely no one.

We lose, win, lose, lose again, and again, then win, and then we lose some more, and perhaps are rewarded with a couple back to back wins.

Sometimes we lose more times than we can count.

But we don’t stop. We get up, and we get right back at it.

Never be afraid of losses.

They might just be the lesson you need for your next win.
Much love,
