One of the most dangerous things you can do on your self-improvement journey is this:
Take advice from people who don’t embody what you actually want to become.
I’ve done it. Overconsumed it, even.
From spiritual gurus to business mentors to hyper-masculine YouTube personalities, I’ve sat with them all.
And sure, they had certainty in their voice.
They had conviction in their teachings.
But what they didn’t have… was a life or energy I actually wanted to emulate.
And that’s where I learned the hard truth:
Just because someone is certain doesn’t mean they’re aligned.
We live in a world that conditions us early on to ask for permission:
- Parents
- Teachers
- Bosses
- Then later… coaches, influencers, and algorithm-chosen gurus
And if you’re not careful, you start believing that’s how you find truth:
“Let me ask someone smarter than me.”
“Let me consume one more course before I act.”
“Let me run my ideas by my friend group before I trust my own voice.”
But when you rely on external voices for everything, especially ones that don’t embody your core values, you start betraying your own vision.
That betrayal has a cost:
- I’ve lost money trusting the wrong mentors.
- I’ve lost time chasing someone else’s version of success.
- I’ve lost myself trying to follow frameworks that never felt right.
There are a million ways to make money, meet women, and build a social circle.
Guess what?
All of them work.
But not all of them are right for you.
When I first got into self-improvement, I dove headfirst into every ideology I could get my hands on. But I eventually found myself:
- Over-feminized by spiritual echo chambers that rejected action and drive
- Repelled by red-pill spaces that were all testosterone and no heart
- Surrounded by women, I wasn’t attracted to
- Operating in business models that didn’t energize me
That’s when I realized… the answer isn’t more advice.
It’s better discernment.
It’s not about who has the right answer. It’s about:
- Who embodies values that feel aligned to yours?
- Who creates from a frequency you actually want to live at?
- Who lives the blend of vision, masculinity, love, and execution that calls to you?
The truth is:
I made the mistake of outsourcing my discernment to people who didn’t even want what I wanted.
Some cared. Some meant well.
But that doesn’t mean their path was mine.
And the truth is, you already know who’s aligned with you and who isn’t.
You already feel it.
So instead of outsourcing your vision, your power, your confidence…
What would happen if you reclaimed your right to lead your own life again?
🙏 This is Why I Created Divine Alchemy
In the Divine Alchemy Brotherhood, we don’t believe in extreme ideologies or cookie-cutter answers.
I don’t pressure you to become a carbon copy of me, or follow some blind “5-step manifestation method.”
What we do is help you engineer a life that’s true to you.
- No spiritual bypassing.
- No hyper-masculine coldness.
- No pretending you don’t want love, money, sex, or freedom.
Just real inner work, guided with depth, structure, and support so you finally trust your own voice more than anyone else’s.
I hold space without projecting.
I guide without dominating.
I show you how to sharpen your inner compass so you make decisions, build habits, and create outcomes from your soul’s alignment.
Not some recycled system.
This isn’t for guys who want a guru.
It’s for men who want to become their own leaders again.
Much love,
Shawn “Sheshn” Heshmatpour
